How do I reach the venue by train?

Although there is a train station in Balcombe, we recommend you arrive into Three Bridges Train Station (15 minutes), or Haywards Heath Train Station (15 minutes), since both train stations have their own taxi ranks and are Uber-accessible.

Both stations are reachable via Thameslink from London Bridge/Farringdon/Blackfriars/Brighton, and Southern from London Victoria/Clapham Junction (30-40 minutes).

How do I reach the venue by air?

The nearest airport is London Gatwick Airport (15-minute drive), though for those coming from America, London Heathrow is a 55-minute drive away.

How do I reach the venue by car/taxi?

Balcombe Place is located just south of the village of Balcombe. The entrance to Balcombe Place is at the joining of Haywards Heath Road and Stonehall Lane.

There is parking at Balcombe Place, though given its limited capacity we highly recommend you travel by taxi to the venue.

When should I plan to arrive at the venue?

We will be welcoming guests from 12:00pm on Saturday 23rd May 2026 to Balcombe Place, with the wedding ceremony scheduled to begin at 13:00pm. Please ensure you arrive in good time, as you will not be allowed entry into the ceremony once it has begun.

When should I plan to leave the venue?

The venue has set its curfew at 12:00am and you will need to book a taxi in advance. As Uber is unlikely to work in Balcombe, below are some local taxi companies:

We also ask that male guests do not wear dinner jackets, or dark green as the main colour of their outfit, and that female guests do not wear burgundy as the main colour of their outfit.
